The X Ibero-American Symposium on Waste Engineering is an event organized by the Ibero-American Network for Environmental Sanitation (REDISA)
The DIS platform of Agro2Circular was featured in the symposium and was part of the discussion of the diverse lines of investigation for the development of comprehensive waste management models, treatment technologies, and more sustainable and circular disposal models.
As developers of the Traceability Tool, CETEC gave a presentation to showcase the digital solution developed for the different life cycles of agri-food waste. The existing issues in the utilization of both organic and plastic waste were presented and each life cycle was addressed, revealing how the tool integrates the various phases through which these waste material go to become new products.
