Innovating in Murcia: Agro2Circular is showcased at the Business Sustainability event

Several key partners of Agro2Circular participated in the first edition of the Business Sustainability event in the Region of Murcia, aptly titled ‘CIRCULARMENTE’. The event focused on advancing and showcasing initiatives around circular economy, an essential aspect of sustainable development. Agro2Circular took center stage as its objectives and research directions were shared with attendees, generating significant interest among regional stakeholders.

With Agro2Circular’s novel approach to circular economy practices, the project was also included in the prestigious Dynamic Catalogue of Good Practices in Circular Economy of Companies in the Region of Murcia. This catalogue serves as a comprehensive platform where the circular activities of various companies across Murcia are displayed, enabling users to explore different sectors and circular principles. Businesses listed can be filtered based on various factors, such as their achieved results, company size, geographical location, or even visualized using the ‘Butterfly Diagram’, an innovative tool for showcasing circular economy flows.

Murcia plays a pivotal role in the success of the Agro2Circular project, being one of the replication sites where the innovative technologies developed by the consortium are actively tested. This recognition in the Dynamic Catalogue further highlights Murcia’s growing importance in advancing sustainable practices in Spain and beyond.
