A new infographic has been launched: what’s behind Agro2Circular – the prequel

Agro2Circular delivers the last infographic, serving as a sort of prequel for further information, explaining how the project is pioneering circular economy solutions by transforming food and plastic waste into new food products, nutraceuticals, and cosmetics.

With 59 million tonnes of food wasted annually in the EU, A2C is tackling the issue head-on. So far, the project has upcycled 12,620 tonnes of waste, equivalent to the yearly waste of 95,000 people. This waste is repurposed into veggie burgers, juices, supplements, and skincare products, reducing environmental impact while boosting sustainability.

By closing the loop on food waste, A2C is proving that a waste-free future is possible.
