AFIL and Regione Lombardia host international seminar on sustainable plastics value chain at Milan’s Pirelli tower
Within the context of the Plastix Project Open Seminar, organized by AFIL (Intelligent Factory Association Lombardy), Tecnoalimenti presented Agro2Circular, highlighting its multidimensional model designed to support the Circular Economy transition. The event hosted a seminar titled “Lombardy Initiatives and Best Practices in the Circular and Sustainable Plastics Value Chain” at the Pirelli Tower in Lombardy, welcoming a delegation from several European countries. They also shared key insights from the Agro2Circular Lombardy working group: the seminar served as a valuable platform to showcase the project’s main achievements and to broaden awareness of A2C’s objectives among regional stakeholders.
This was a unique opportunity to further disseminate the project’s goals and successes and actively engage public stakeholders from the Lombardy Region, in addition to those who had participated in the working group. The open seminar attracted notable attendees, including the Regional Minister for Economic Development and the Head of Unit for Corporate Competitiveness and Sustainability, Ecosystems and Value Chains from the Lombardy Region. Their presence underscored the importance of regional cooperation in advancing sustainable, circular economy practices and emphasized the potential for Agro2Circular’s model to inspire future initiatives and policy development within Lombardy.
