Engineering and food are two interesting fields that are hardly considered together, yet this is what happened at the International Congress of Engineering & Food.
Agro2Circular and Agromatter participated in the ICEF14 that was held in Nantes (Fr) on June 19 to 23, 2023. CTNC was there and presented a poster titled: “Application of innovative technologies for the recycling of agri-food waste: H2020 Agro2Circular and Agromatter projects”.
Agro2Circular aims to address the issue of food waste by valorising it throughout innovative extraction routes. Similarly, Agromatter wants develop sustainable technical materials from by-products of the agri-food industry. Both these projects present the results obtained so far by using different methodologies on multiple raw materials.
